STAINED GLASS
Kiirtekuduja / Ray Weaver
a stained-glass gnomon “Ray Weaver” in tiffany technique, with its longest side being 155 cm. Its main motif is a hand, weaving a balance of warmth and light from the sunrays, ensuring that all Life around the Knitter gets enough sunlight to flourish. The gnomon works as a functioning sundial, however, instead of pointing to numbers on a dial, the shadows cast by the Sun paint a colourful pattern on the forest floor, paying homage to the natural rhythms and cycles of the forest and reminding us that we, too are part of them.
